Mark Of The Beast Of Revelation

The mark of the Beast of Revelation is the topic of our Bible study. We feel strongly this subject matter need to be properly understood by all of us in light of Bible prophecy. Many suggestions have been circulating online and offline to identify this mysterious mark of the Beast. Some tried to connect the mark with the Social Security cards people use. Today, we will share with our readers what the Revelation in the Bible say about the mark of the Beast. What is the Bible referring to when it talks about the mark of the Beast? The Bible clearly reveals that those who receive the mark of the Beast will have the wrath of Yahweh poured upon them: “If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand, he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of Elohim, which is poured out full strength into the cup of his indignation. And he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb”  (Revelation 14:9-10). Notice also the apostle Paul’s clear teaching about the recipients of Yahweh’s wrath: “The wrath of Yahweh is coming upon the sons of disobedience” (Colossians 3:6). The mark of the Beast is therefore a brand of disobedience to Yahweh. It marks those who refuse to keep Yahweh’s Commandments in spite of both the preaching of the two witnesses and even the final warning delivered by the holy angel of Eternal Yahweh (Revelation 14:9). Yes, simply stated, this mark of the Beast means disobedience to Yahweh, and His Laws, the Ten Commandments! Not only must this involve rejection of Yahweh’s sign of obedience, the Sabbath, but also the acceptance of a counterfeit sign or mark. This mark is, in reality, a bad brand deriving from Babylon and Rome! Revelation 13, in describing the interaction of the Church of Rome and the medieval Holy Roman Empire, makes plain that the mark, the image and the number of the Beast’s name were all extant during the Middle Ages as a precursor of end-time events!

Yes, the mark of the Beast of Revelation stands very plainly and very clearly as a false brand that teaches and preaches disobedience to Yahweh and His Laws! Does the Bible reveal a contrasting sign of obedience that identifies Yahweh’s true people? Notice! “Speak also to the children of Israel, saying: ‘Surely My Sabbaths you shall keep, for it is a sign between Me and you throughout your generations, that you may know that I am Yahweh who sanctifies you. You shall keep the Sabbath, therefore, for it is holy to you. Everyone who profanes it shall surely be put to death; for whoever does any work on it, that person shall be cut off from among his people. Work shall be done for six days, but the seventh is the Sabbath of rest, holy to Yahweh. Whoever does any work on the Sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death. ‘Therefore the children of Israel shall keep the Sabbath, to observe the Sabbath throughout their generations as a perpetual covenant. It is a sign between Me and the children of Israel forever; for in six days Yahweh made the heavens and the earth, and on the seventh day (Saturday) He rested and was refreshed” (Exodus 31:13-17). Here Yahweh declared to ancient Israel that His Sabbaths were a sign between Him and His people forever! Did you get it? The Sabbath is the test commandment to identify the true Elohim of creation and the people who are really obedient to His commands and laws.

Again Revelation 13 of Bible explains that the mark of the Beast, a brand of disobedience to Yahweh, is taken upon the hand and the forehead. Yes, the Beast’s mark is on the hand and forehead! Just as disobedience is described as worn upon the hand and forehead, so also is obedience to Yahweh’s Law! The Bible says, “Now this is the Commandment, and these are the statutes and judgments which Yahweh your Elohim has commanded to teach you, that you may observe them in the land which you are crossing over to possess, that you may fear Yahweh your Elohim, to keep all His statutes and His Commandments which I command you, you and your son and your grandson, all the days of your life, and that your days may be prolonged. ‘You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes” (Deuteronomy 6:1-2, 8). Yes, the hand is symbolic of actions, while the forehead is the seat of intellect. Genuine obedience to Almighty Father in heaven Yahweh involves both actions (hand) and will (forehead). Our actions and will determines if we’ve the mark of the Beast! And we are very sad to tell you this but if you’re doing Sunday worship that you’re now already participating in a system bearing the mark of the Beast. The same is true if you’re disobeying Yahweh’s Law–Ten Commandments!

In closing, we have to understand that within a few years the mark of the Beast will be required for all of those who are going to participate in the economic system of Babylon the Great. Notice! “And that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the Beast, or the number of his name” (Revelation 13:17). Yet those who accept it will, by their actions, call down upon themselves the undiluted wrath of Yahweh (Revelation 14:9-10). It is also vitally important to realize that this coming alliance of church and state is once again to rear its head. In the days soon ahead of us, the final appearance of the Beast system will emerge once more from out of the abyss. Will you give in to the pressures to fit in with this very powerful system that will hold a brief sway over all the earth in the near future? You must really understand what are at stake about this very important subject matter for your own spiritual sake and for that of your whole family!
