The World In The Last Days

Have you been watching the news on television, or reading the daily news on the newspaper? And have you ever thought, can things get any worse? There is so much tragedy and cruelty going on everywhere that some people believe we must be near the end of the world, or the end of the age as the Bible correctly phrase it. Is that true? Is there a way to know what is happening now and what will happen in the future? The answer is a resounding yes! Humans cannot exactly predict what will happen, but the Almighty Father in heaven Yahweh can! He tells us precisely in His word, the Bible, about the future of mankind and the future of planet earth: “Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all My pleasure” (Isaiah 46:10). In today’s message we will share with you the pure biblical evidence that we are living in the time just before the end of the age. As always we will ask for the help and guidance of the Holy Spirit to teach you about the state of the world in the last days. We hope that you’ll pay careful attention to this very important message that’s going to truly affect all of our lives today and in the months and years to come!

When we hear or read about the end of the world, it means, not the end of planet Earth, but the end of all wickedness in the world. The Savior of mankind, Yahshua Messiah, taught people that the Kingdom of Yahweh would someday come to rule over the earth: “But He (Yahshua) said to them, I must preach the Kingdom of Yahweh to the other cities also, because for this purpose I have been sent” (Luke 4:43). His disciples wanted to know when Yahweh’s Kingdom would come, and they asked Yahshua: “Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and the end of the age?” (Matthew 24:3). Yahshua did not give them the exact date, but He told them what would happen just before the end of this age. What Yahshua said would happen is happening right now. It is very important that you know Satan the devil and his demon associates lost the war in heaven and they were thrown down to the earth (Revelation 12:7-9). The heavenly angels were so happy about that. But what about the people on earth? The Bible says it would be a time of trouble for mankind. Why? Because Satan is very angry, knowing that he has a short period of time to rule on earth: “…Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time” (Revelation 12:12). Satan is causing as much trouble as he can. He’s mad because he has a short time left before Yahweh removes him on earth!

In the Bible, Yahshua Messiah said the world in the last days is going to be like this: “For nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places” (Matthew 24:7). More people have been killed in wars in our time than at any other time in history. More than 100 million were killed just in the 1,900 years alone! Just imagine the misery and pain that millions of people have felt because of war. And wars are not over yet! There will be food shortages causing hunger. Even though more food is produced now than ever before, many people never have enough to eat. Why? Because they don’t have enough money to buy food or land on which to grow it. More than a billion people have less than 1 dollar a day to live on. The World Health Organization (WHO) reports that millions of children die each year, mainly because they don’t have enough food to keep them healthy. Many powerful earthquakes are now expected every year. Over 2 million people have died because of earthquakes since the year 1900. And although technology has helped to detect earthquakes earlier than before, many people still die around the world because of it. Dangerous diseases would spread quickly and kill many. Even though doctors have learned how to treat many diseases, there are still fatal sicknesses that cannot be cured. Millions of people across the globe die from diseases such as cholera, malaria, and tuberculosis. Not only that, but doctors have found many more emerging diseases that are very resistant to antibiotic medicines, and some of them have no cure at all!

Furthermore, the apostle Paul described the people’s behavior during the last days, or end of the age: “But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come, “For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of Elohim, having a form of holiness but denying its power. And from such people turn away! (2 Timothy 3:1-5). Do many people behave like this where you live? All over the world, many do. This Bible prophecy is happening right before our very eyes! But Heavenly Father Yahweh will soon do something about it. He promises: “When the wicked spring up like grass, And when all the workers of iniquity flourish, It is that they may be destroyed forever” (Psalms 92:7). The apostle Paul explained that the destruction of the wicked will come when most people don’t expect it, “as a thief in the night” (1 Thessalonians 5:2). Of course, mockers of Bible prophecy will also be very many in the last days! And the Bible records it, too: “Knowing this first: that scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts, and saying, “Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation” (2 Peter 3:3-4). Yahshua Messiah Himself prophesied that many would choose to ignore that we are living in the last days. He said that many would choose to ignore the evidence. He said: “But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man will be. For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be” (Matthew 24:37-39). What the scoffers and many don’t really understand is that all the bad things happening on earth and its people will become more and more intense and also more and more frequent in the last days!

In closing, the Savior of mankind, Yahshua, warned that we should not become distracted with overeating and heavy drinking and anxieties of life. He said: But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that Day come on you unexpectedly” (Luke 21:34). He also said: “For it will come as a snare on all those who dwell on the face of the whole earth” (Luke 21:35). Then He added: “Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man” (Luke 21:36). Many Bible prophecies about the last days are coming true. This world ruled by Satan the devil will soon come to its end. Satan and his demons will be destroyed in the lake of fire. The question is, what will you do now? Our Heavenly Father Yahweh wants you to learn as much as you can the true teachings of the Bible and the real truths from the Bible. As the true servants of the Most High Yahweh that is what we teach that you learn from our humble, faithful and true Christian Ministry. We want the people to understand Bible truths and what the coming Kingdom of Yahweh and Yahshua is and what it will do for mankind. And we do this free of charge to you because we genuinely love you and we want the salvation of your soul! You need to take your Bible study very seriously. Soon Almighty Yahweh will decide to stop the preaching of the Good News and “the end” will come: “And this Gospel of the Kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come” (Matthew 24:14). But notice that only those who are approved by Creator Yahweh and His Savior Son Yahshua who are in the “Book of Life” will survive the end-time and live forever “…in the new heaven and new earth…, the New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from Yahweh, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband” (Revelation 21:1-2). What a great promise and a precious eternal life awaits the people who will repent of sin and endure until the end!
