The True Church Or Yahweh’s Genuine People

There are thousands of different churches today that claim to be a part of Yahshua Messiah’s Church. Although most people assume that these churches get their beliefs and doctrines from the Bible, the reality is that most of them that claim to be “Christian” churches often rely on non-biblical and pagan traditions for their beliefs! They led people astray and into falsehood with their man-made beliefs and traditions! Notice! Yahshua Messiah Himself said: “These people draw near to Me with their mouth, and honor Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me. And in vain they worship Me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men” (Matthew 15:8-9). Many of these churches will not teach the full truths from the Bible as that often goes against their very comforting traditions, culture, and/or society. Today, our study will focus on the teachings and practices of the true Church or Yahweh’s genuine people, during biblical times. Savior Yahshua built His Church and said: “…And on this rock I will build My Church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it” (Matthew 16:18). As always, we will let the Bible interpret itself as we ask for the help and guidance of the Holy Spirit to disseminate all the truth to the readers of this end-time faithful ministry.

It is very common that most people accept whatever the dominant religion their family or local culture accept. Some, however, will make changes in their lifetime. Some changes are based upon emotion, some for convenience, and some on doctrine. Some pick a church or a ministry where they feel the most comfortable, while others pick one based upon its proximity, youth and/or social programs, or because somehow it could advance a religious career. The question is, can you really identify the true Christian church? Should you bother to prove whether or not the church or ministry that you attend and/or belong to is a true Christian one? The Book of Revelation in the Bible mentions seven different end-time churches. Of the churches mentioned, the Philadelphia church is the truest and faithful of all. Most importantly, it gets Almighty Yahweh’s seal of approval (Revelation 3:7-13). Does your present church or ministry identify with Philadelphia church? You need to be very sure. Picking the wrong church or ministry can have bad effect on your spiritual growth! Let us help and lead you to the truth on this very crucial subject matter.

It is very important our readers understand this: When the Bible speaks of the Church, it is never speaking of a building nor a human-made organization incorporated under secular authority. Today, many churches and/or Christian ministry call themselves “Christian.” These religious entities observe Sunday praise and worship, keep what they call the “Lord’s Supper” on Sunday morning, “sprinkle” or pour water on the head of baptismal candidates. In addition, various churches/ministries of this world have different concepts of Almighty Yahweh. Some feel that Yahweh is a fierce autocrat who roasts sinners in an ever-burning hellfire. Others think of Yahweh as simply the “divine spark” that somehow started all life but that has very little to do with everyday events and does not care about mankind’s lifestyle. There is nothing further from the truth! The reality is, He does love and care for you and me that He let His only Begotten Son, Yahshua Messiah, die on the stake for yours and my sins! I’ll repeat. Our Heavenly Father Yahweh let His beloved Son, Yahshua, suffer an unspeakable torture and horrible death in order to save you and me from eternal condemnation and death that Satan the devil brought to mankind! How could anyone say it’s not love?

Moreover, the apostle Paul tells us that true Christians, those who compose the true Church, are “fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of Almighty Yahweh, having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Yahshua Messiah Himself being the chief cornerstone” (Ephesians 2:19-20). The writings of the apostles and the prophets (the Bible), not human “opinions or feelings,” must be the basis of doctrine and practice! Yahshua Messiah said: “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free” (John 8:31-32). Again, what is the truth? The Messiah said in your Bible: “Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth” (John 17:17). The true Church or Yahweh’s genuine people would keep and practice the sacred commands of both Almighty Yahweh and Savior Yahshua! They acknowledge the inspired authority of the Bible and base their teaching solidly on that foundation!  Notice: “Not everyone who says to Me, Master, Master, shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven” (Matthew 7:21). Yahshua Messiah plainly stated here that His true people must be obedient to the Father’s will. They must do faithfully what Almighty Yahweh commands!

Meanwhile, one of the most drastic changes to affect the church after the first century was the introduction of idolatrous religious art into worship. Many motifs of sun worship, such as the use of the “cross” and the “halo” in art entered “Christianity.” By the second century, the true Gospel that Yahshua Messiah had taught was being called a “doubtful opinion” by the leaders of the budding “orthodox” Christian church. By the third century, Yahshua Messiah’s own teaching and example was being regarded as heresy. During the second and third centuries, the “gospel that was being preached focused almost exclusively on the person of “Jesus.” Also, at the same time, pagan concepts about the immortality of the soul, as well as heaven and hell, gained acceptance. The false doctrine of the “Trinity” had also come up during the third century. In the fourth century, portrayals of Jesus and His apostles were becoming increasingly widespread. This was also accompanied by the idolatrous “Mary-worship” in private devotions. As the foundational understanding of the true nature of the Gospel and the Kingdom of Yahweh was abandoned, there were many disastrous consequences. One was the participation of church members in politics and in the military.

At this point let us give to you, based on the authority of Holy Scriptures, the identifying characteristics of the beliefs, teachings and practices of the true Church or Yahweh’s genuine people. The Bible plainly and very clearly show that Almighty Yahweh’s people observed the Day of Pentecost (Acts 2:1), the Feast of Unleavened Bread (1 Corinthians 5:8; Leviticus 23:6; Deuteronomy 16:16), Passover (1 Corinthians 5:7; Leviticus 23:5). The Holy Days of Yahweh were not “done away” when Yahshua Messiah died, as some claim. The Bible unmistakably record the early Church continued to observe them with greater grasp of spiritual significance. The Gospels and the book of Acts are equally clear that Yahshua Messiah, His apostles and the early Church kept the weekly Sabbath (from Friday evening to Saturday evening) as their day of rest and worship (Mark 6:2; Luke 4:16; 31-32; 13:10; Acts 13:14-44; 18:4). Very sadly, the Sabbath is ignored by the overwhelming majority of churches today. Rather than keeping the Sabbath as Yahweh commanded, most churches meet on Sunday, a day nowhere commanded in the Bible as a day of worship. Yahshua Messiah’s apostles kept Yahweh’s Law and were obedient to them. Many churches teach the Law is unnecessary and was “nailed to the cross” when Yahshua Messiah died. This directly opposes Yahshua’s own words (Matthew 4:4; 5:17-19). The apostles also preached about Messiah’s return to earth to establish Almighty Yahweh’s coming Kingdom (Luke 4:43; 8:1; 21:27: 31; Acts 1:3; 8:12; 14:22; 19:8; 28:23; 31).

Furthermore, the true Church or Yahweh’s genuine people makes proclaiming the Gospel of the Kingdom as a witness its top priority (Matthew 24:14; 28:19-20), supports the poor brethren (Galatians 2:10), including widows and orphans (James 1:27), practices biblical governance (1 Corinthians 12:28; Matthew 18:15-17), has the proclamation, doctrinal, prophetic, and loving fruits Yahshua Messiah spoke of (John 7:16-20; 13:35; Luke 4:18; 14:13; Matthew 24:14; 28:19-20; Revelation 3:7-13), warns those who think that they are in the Church to not fall away (1 Timothy 4:1), has spiritual gifts, including receiving dreams in the last days (Acts 2:17-18), understands the historical and current roles of the churches of Revelation 2 and 3, explains and understands biblical prophecy well enough (Daniel 11:29-45; Matthew 24) to know when to flee (Matthew 24:15-20; Revelation 3:10; 12:14-16) prior to the Great Tribulation (Matthew 24:21), contends earnestly for the original faith (Jude 1:3) even under threats of persecution (Acts 5:27-32), teaches the truth about the Majesty of Almighty Yahweh (Romans 1:20; Colossians 2:29), understands Yahweh’s plan of salvation through Yahshua Messiah as pictured through the Holy Days (1 Corinthians 5:7-8; James 1:18), was, is, and will be persecuted, but never the physical persecutor (John 15:20-21; 18:36), opposes participation in the carnal warfare of this world (John 18:36; Luke 3:14), has not adopted the outward trappings of paganism in terms of ecclesiastical dress or buildings (Deuteronomy 12:29-30), will never align with end-time ecumenical Babylon (Revelation 13:4-10; 18:4), preaches the full Gospel of the Kingdom (Matthew 24:14; 28:19-20), and it’s only a tiny “little flock” (Luke 12:32; Romans 11:5; Revelation 14:1-9).

In closing, we are encouraging you to read and study the Bible like the Bereans (Acts 17:11). Why? Because your spiritual salvation is on the line! Yes, your choice could affect whether you’ll receive the gift of eternal life or not! And yes, your choice could affect whether you’ll receive eternal death, forever separated to our Heavenly Father Yahweh, our Master and Savior Yahshua Messiah, and Their genuine people/saints! We understand that many people today find themselves at a crossroads. They have been deceived by false teachers, and have gone into apostasy. Still others have become lukewarm that they have lost the truth, love and vision. They no longer care about doing the Work and Mission. Satan the devil has sown much confusion and discouragement to many sincere people. But sincerity alone is not enough for salvation! We all still need to faithfully obey the commands of Yahshua Messiah that He received from Almighty Yahweh! Please understand there is no shortcut and there is no other way beside it! Of course, you can study/worship in all of the ministry/church of your choice and you can follow the ideas of your religious leaders, relatives and dear friends. But will they be there to protect you during the soon-coming world upheaval (Great Tribulation) and the horrifying plagues of Yahweh that immediately follow? More importantly, will they be there to “save” you in Yahweh’s judgement? In His own words, Yahshua Messiah said: “Many will say to me in that day, Master, Master, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name? And then I will declare to them, I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!” (Matthew 7:22-23). That said, will you obey the truth of the Bible we just presented to you, or will you still continue to follow the lies you’ve been told to believe?
