Bible Truth About Faith And Grace And Law Of Yahweh
What is the Bible truth about faith and grace and the Law of Yahweh? A huge number of professing Christians, to include many religious and church leaders today, are very confused about this issue. And to make matters even worse many of the new and old teachers and preachers of the Bible in this generation are falsely teaching and preaching out of context this vital subject to others. If we may, please let us help you clearly understand what the Word of Yahweh, the Bible, says about this very important and critical issue. As always, we will let the Holy Spirit of Yahweh guide us and not use any man-made interpretations here on our website. We will let the Bible interpret itself the way it should be! As it is written: “All Scripture is given by inspiration of Yahweh, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.” (2 Timothy 3:16). Yes, the Bible is understood clearly by Yahweh’s people! If you are ready to feed on the Bible truth now, then continue to read on.
We feel very sad that popular teaching and preaching we see and hear inside or outside the pulpits on this day and age sees the apostle Paul as being a “champion promoter” in bringing a new, lawless religion to the New Testament of the Bible. Many church “leaders” and “preachers” today in this generation grossly misinterpret and twist the apostle Paul’s teaching in the Book of Galatians. These religious leaders and preachers make it appear that apostle Paul was anti-law to that of Yahweh’s Law. In the Bible, after he was converted, the apostle Paul explicitly said he did not do away with the Law of Yahweh but taught and followed it (Acts 28:23). Yet, many people did not and still do not believe him now even after reading the Bible! Don’t you know the apostle Paul was a Jew, a Pharisee? If there was anyone during Biblical times who upheld the Law of Yahweh to a very high standard, Paul would be among those who would be on the top of the lists. He’s a Law-keeper, not a Law-breaker!
Let us explore even more who the apostle was, shall we? Did apostle Paul a law-breaker to the Old Testament of Yahweh? Did apostle Paul ever incorrectly taught or distort the New Testament from the Old Testament? The apostle Paul is a man who adhered to the Law of Yahweh so much. The following Bible passages could prove that he was indeed so beyond any reasonable doubt. In the New Testament (Acts 18:21) the apostle Paul said he must by all means keep the Sukkot aka Feast of Tabernacles (An Old Testament Law); Paul rushed to Jerusalem (Acts 20:16) to observe the Feast of Weeks aka Day of Pentecost (Another Old Testament Law); Paul went regularly to the synagogue on the Sabbath where He taught the Law of Yahweh (Acts 17:2); Paul had “explained and solemnly testified to the people during Biblical times the Kingdom of Yahweh, persuading them concerning Yahshua from both the Law of Moses and the Prophets (Old and New Testament), from morning until evening (Acts 28:23); Paul kept the Law and he proved it by purifying himself with the Jews at the Temple (Acts 21:24); and Paul believed the Law of Yahweh is perfectly righteous and pure that he wrote these words: “Therefore the Law is holy, and the Commandment holy and just and good.” (Romans 7:12).
Then there is the question: does faith nullify the Law of Yahweh? Some religious teachers and preachers seem to teach that, but what did apostle Paul said? Here is what he wrote: “Do we then make void the Law through faith? Certainly not! On the contrary, we establish the Law.” (Romans 3:31). Christians are justified by faith after they repent of their sin. But since Christians are not to continue in sin, we help establish the Law. How about sin and the grace of Yahweh? Note again what apostle Paul had said: “What shall we say then? “Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it?” (Romans 6:1-2). But then again there are many religious teachers and preachers who quote this Bible verse: “By grace are you saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of Yahweh, not of works, lest anyone should boast.” (Ephesians 2:8-9). Does this Bible passage supposed to be a matter of contention and argument among the Christians today? We pray it’s not, as the Bible’s answer is very clear.
Additionally, those who quote the Bible passage in Ephesians 2:8-9 who teach or preach the doctrine of “no works” never tell you that the Bible, through the apostle James, say this also: “What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him? (James 2:14). Then apostle James continue by saying: “Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.” (James 2:17). And then apostle James added saying: “But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead?” (James 2:20). The apostle James also said: ” Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered Isaac his son on the altar? Do you see that faith was working together with his works, and by works faith was made perfect?” (James 2:21-22). Then apostle James had also said this: “You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only.” (James 2:24). Finally the apostle James said: “For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.” (James 2:26). We do not see contradiction between the apostle Paul and apostle James Bible writings whatsoever!
Then the next possible question might be this: Are people saved by works instead of faith? No, and never will be. People are saved by faith, but faith functions with our works and by works our faith is made perfect. Then, why do we even need salvation? It is because we have sinned, and the penalty of sin is death! But how have we sinned, and what is sin? The Bible says: “Sin is the transgression of the Law.” (1 John 3:4). But many people might say we are not under the Law today, but under grace. Note again what the apostle Paul said: “Shall we sin (transgress the Law) because we are not under the Law but under grace? And Paul answered: Certainly not! And again the apostle Paul said: “Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it?” (Romans 6:1-2). The Law has a penalty which is death! It is the sinner who is under the Law. But when the sinner repents of his transgression, and accepts the sacrifice of Yahshua the Messiah as payment of the penalty of the Law, then he is forgiven or pardoned (under grace), meaning the Law no longer stands over the person, claiming his or her life. Understand that those who are still sinning (for example: those who willfully ignore the Ten Commandments of Yahweh) are still under the Law! And those who, through repentance, obedience and faith have turned away from their willful disobedience and are, through faith, keeping the Law, are the only ones who are under grace!
Furthermore, there are also those who say that people cannot possibly keep all the Commandments of Yahweh. Of course, Satan the devil, and his followers, will try to lie the best they can and deceive people into thinking that it is not humanly possible to follow the Law of Yahweh. Case and point the Bible say this: “For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Yahshua, And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light, Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works.” (2 Corinthians 11:13-15). Then again here comes this question and the answer to this question directly from the Bible: “Do we then make void the Law through faith? Certainly not! On the contrary, we establish the Law.” (Romans 3:31). The answer is very, very clear on this topic from the Bible, yet so many people still want to argue and do not want to let go of their erroneous or misinformed belief. Again, Satan have deceived these people and we would like to help them rightfully see and acknowledge the plain truth the Bible has to say on this subject. As it is written: “But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, whose minds the god of this age (Satan the devil) has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Yahshua, who is the image of Yahweh, should shine on them.” (2 Corinthians 3-4).
Meanwhile, there is Good News from Almighty Yahweh and Yahshua the Messiah! When Satan the devil says to people “no” it is impossible to follow the Law of Yahweh, then the Creator Yahweh says “yes” it is possible to obey your Elohim Yahweh. “But Yahweh is faithful that He will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.” (1 Corinthians 10:13). Yahshua illustrated this plain and simple truth when a certain man came to Him and asked how to have the eternal life. Then Yahshua Himself replied unto this man with these very powerful words: “But if you want to enter into life, keep the Commandments.” (Matthew 19:17). There is the Savior’s own answer! And to people who claim they know the Savior well but do not follow what He say, here’s Yahshua’s message to you: “But why do you call Me ‘Master, Master,’ and do not do the things which I say?” (Luke 6:46). You don’t want to be called a hypocrite, do you? The Messiah Himself very, very clearly taught and confirmed He didn’t do away with the Law of His Father Yahweh! In addition, when the disciples of Yahshua heard this, they were exceedingly amazed, saying, “Who then can be saved?” But Yahshua looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with Yahweh all things are possible.” (Matthew 19:25-26). This means a living faith, and active obedience to Yahweh, and fully trusting Him to make it possible to obey His Law, is the only kind of faith that He looks upon people to save them! We pray these plain Bible truths resonate very well on you now.
Very sadly, many religious leaders, many religious teachers, and many religious preachers on this day and age blindly embrace and teach to others their blasphemous man-made concept of Yahshua Messiah getting rid of the Law or the Commandments when He was nailed on the stake! To teach and preach that way is an abomination to Yahweh! Note that people who belongs to Yahweh are not justified by the Law but we are justified by the blood of Yahshua, but this justification will be given only on condition that we repent of our transgressions of Almighty Yahweh’s Law! “For not the hearers of the Law are just in the sight of Yahweh, but the doers of the Law (only those who obey the Law) will be justified.” (Romans 2:13). Yahweh instructs His faithful people, both in the Old and New Testament, that we are to live by faith (Habakkuk 2:4; Galatians 3:11; Romans 1:17). Therefore, the Bible shows, both in the Old and New Testament, that Yahweh’s true people have demonstrated their faith by keeping the Law or Commandments of Yahweh! The true people of Yahweh, past or present, do not keep or obey only partial or any additional Law or Commandments not originally found or written in the Bible! In the Book of Revelation, Yahshua said: “Blessed are those who do Yahweh’s Commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. But outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie.” (Revelation 22:14-15). Yes, those who teaches and preaches a lie may not have the right to enter the coming Kingdom of heaven and may not have the right to receive the precious gift of eternal life from Yahweh that is given through Yahshua Messiah!
In conclusion, we, the true people of Yahweh do not, and will not, teach or preach to others that Yahshua Messiah or the apostle Paul had taught or promote the Law or Commandments of Yahweh was already done away with, as doing such evil thing is a total and absolute blasphemy and abomination in the eyes of Almighty Yahweh and Yahshua the Messiah!
