How Would The Savior Yahshua Vote For President?
How would Yahshua the Messiah vote for electing the President of a nation? How would the Savior of mankind respond to all the complexities and the drama surrounding an election? As a Christian how should you respond? How should the people of a country view the election process itself? As the nation of the United States of America and the whole world cry out in desperation for right leadership, why is real leadership so hard to find? What makes a real leader, and will this world ever see the righteous and unblemished leadership it desperately so deserve? How could the sincere believer in the sacred Scriptures support them? And most importantly, what and who is the real hope for true love and peace on this earth? Let us examine what the Bible really says on these issues.
You might be surprised to know that Yahweh’s Law actually prohibits anyone who has entered into His Holy Covenant from voting another person who is not His saint. This principle in governing is in the Bible where it says: “When you come to the land which Yahweh your Elohim is giving you, and possess it and dwell in it, and say, “I will set a king over me like all the nations that are around me, You shall surely set a king over you whom Yahweh your Elohim chooses; one from among your brethren you shall set as king over you; you may not set a foreigner over you, who is not your brother.” (Deuteronomy 17:14-15). That Bible statement is very plain and clear that a person who is not converted based on Yahweh’s requirements cannot rule and lead His people. Why? Because electing a person outside of Yahweh’s people would corrupt Yahweh’s plan of government. That said, Yahshua the Messiah is the only worthy ruler to lead Yahweh’s people today and His future Kingdom!
Yahweh desires that His people be ruled in righteousness according to the intentions of His Covenant Law. His Son Yahshua the Savior did not vote when He was here on this earth, nor did He participate in partisan politics. Nowhere in the Bible can you find that Yahshua ever urged His followers to take an active part in the affairs of this world, or its governments. Why? Because Yahshua said: “My kingdom is not of this world. If my kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so that I should not be delivered to the Jews; but now My kingdom is not from here.” (John 18:36). Yashua the Savior was the ultimate ambassador of Yahweh’s Kingdom, which will in the future rule throughout the entire world in the affairs of men. Yahshua’s mission on earth was to call people to repentance, instructing them to submit their lives fully to the government of His Father Yahweh and encouraging them to enter into His Covenant.
The apostle Paul also recognized himself an ambassador or representative of the Heavenly Kingdom to come when he said: “Now then, we are ambassadors for Yahshua, as though Yahweh were pleading through us: we implore you on Yahshua’s behalf, be reconciled to Yahweh.” (2 Corinthians 5:20). Paul again mentioned himself a faithful ambassador to Yahweh and His Word (Ephesians 6:20). He makes this very clear and emphatic to the faithful followers of Yahshua and Yahweh when he said: “For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior Yahshua.” (Philippians 3:20). Additionally, the apostle Peter and the other Apostles during their ministry in biblical times also said: “We must obey Yahweh rather than men.” (Acts 5:29)
True and faithful Christians, therefore, voluntarily decide to enter into Yahweh’s Covenant and they place themselves under His protection. Although they continue to abide by the laws of the countries in which they reside, these converted people no longer participate in the governments of worldly nations because they can discern the wickedness that exists there. Still, true Christians obey the laws of their nation and pay taxes as the Bible instructs. The faithful and true followers of Almighty Yahweh and Yahshua the Messiah do not compromise the high moral standards and principles written in the Bible. Yahweh’s saints always obey the laws of the country in which they reside as long as those laws do not conflict with biblical Law, a law that’s taught and obeyed by the Messiah Himself!
All the above passages from the Bible plainly and clearly says Yahshua, Who is the Son of the Most High Yahweh, represented the spiritual family of His Father and, thereby He placed Himself above the petty party controversies that are usually associated with earthly politics, and politicians, who rarely keep their promises to the people after they are elected. Yahshua the Messiah put His allegiance exclusively to Yahweh. Yahshua did not associate nor align Himself in worldly politics and neither were His disciples and His true and faithful followers. Yahweh’s people should follow and obey Yahweh and His Word no matter what the world and the unbelievers around them say or do.
Yahweh’s true saints should not love the world. The apostle John instructed the people and said: “Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of Yahweh is not in him. For all that is in the world–the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life–is not of Yahweh but is of the world, and the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of Yahweh abides forever.” (1 John 2:15-17). The true and righteous King, Yahshua the Messiah, is coming. Are you ready to be led by Him when He comes?
Great food for thought!
